This new system allows you to balance your telescope with ease. A rack fixed to the dovetail plate and a pinion inside the clamp, will help the moving the telescope, even a few millimeters, without any risk. Below, a plate type Losmandy, can fit to any clamp of this standard. Full rack plates are available but it is’ also possible to adapt other Geoptik plates, or ones you already have. They come in three lengths: 340 mm, 450 mm, 480 mm. The GK-8 Clamp can be mounted on any other clamp type Losmandy without having to remove the original. You can fit it to the EQ6 and AZ-EQ6 mounts, using the connecting flange 30A057N, or directly on a Losmandy mount or even directly on an HEQ5 or AZ-EQ5, without any adapter. With the # 30A057VX adapter, you can also attach it on Celestron AVX mount.
