This ornament places the Browne family crest on the Irish national tartan within a silver-tone portrait frame, a compact one-sided keepsake for the tree.
Browne is one of Ireland's most recognized surnames, and the Galway branch was among the fourteen merchant families known as the Tribes of Galway, prominent in the city from the medieval period onward.
It measures 3.25 x 2.31 inches, made from polished silver-tone metal with a one-sided print, and comes fitted with a satin ribbon ready to hang.
It suits a tree, mantel, or display shelf, and makes a meaningful gift for a Browne relative or anyone marking Irish ancestry at Christmas.
