Note: This painting is shown as a portfolio example. The price listed reflects my most affordable entry point for a custom digital pet portrait. Original oil portraits are quoted individually based on size and detail.

This portrait captures an American Quarter Horse with rider, highlighting the connection between horse and rider through balanced composition, posture, and movement. The scene emphasizes partnership and trust, with careful attention given to body alignment, tack details, and the natural flow between both subjects.

Rather than focusing solely on the horse, this portrait celebrates the relationship and shared presence within the frame. Subtle lighting and controlled background elements keep attention centered on the interaction, while refined brushwork brings depth, realism, and warmth to the composition.

How Your Portrait Is Created

Digital Sketch & Approval
Every commission begins with a hand-painted digital sketch, allowing you to review composition, balance, and overall mood before final work begins.

Final Artwork Creation
Once approved, the portrait is completed according to your chosen finish:

• Digital Painting on Canvas — Professionally printed and ready to hang

• Hand-Painted Oil on Canvas — Fully painted with professional oil paints for depth, texture, and a lifelike finish

Finishing Touches
Oil paintings receive protective varnish, and all canvases include finished edges and hanging hardware. Progress images are shared throughout the process, and minor refinements may be requested before final approval.
